Inflammation is the body’s natural response to tissue damage and infection. In many chronic conditions, it becomes uncontrolled and drives diseases ranging from non-healing wounds to systemic disorders.

Our ResCure® technology is based on unique polymer materials that dampen uncontrolled inflammation and enable healing by binding and neutralizing inflammatory cytokines through programmed affinity. This paves the way for effective treatment of inflammation-driven diseases.

Transforming Inflammatory Disease Treatment Through Polymer Material Innovation

We’re pioneering a revolutionary platform technology that targets inflammation across multiple disease areas, offering a new paradigm for treating chronic and inflammation-driven conditions.

Therapeutic Mechanism

ResCure® works by physically binding multiple inflammatory cytokines, while leaving regenerative factors largely unaffected. From chronic wounds to systemic diseases, it enables effective therapies.

Drug-Free

Our technology delivers its effect through the polymer matrix itself, without the use of drugs or bioactives. This unique mode of action represents a completely new way of addressing inflammation-driven diseases.

Platform Technology

The affinity profile can be precisely tuned to target different diseases. Versatile processing options allow the application of our material across a range of different formats, such as coatings, powders, and gels.

About us

ResCure® GmbH is a spin-off of the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden. We combine expertise in the design and manufacturing of inflammation-resolving polymer materials and their translation into medical devices.

Our multidisciplinary team includes specialists in polymer synthesis, cell biology, biomedical and chemical engineering, quality management, regulatory affairs, business development, and accounting, to turn innovative materials into clinically relevant solutions.

Team members

Our journey began with an EXIST research transfer project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). In 2024, ResCure® won the Science4Life business plan competition, highlighting the potential of our technology.
